My name is Cédric Bozzi, I make apps and websites, and this is my tech blog — you’ll find news commentary here, from a very opinionated Mac-head.
Il y a une version française ici, but most of this blog’s contents are extracted from my Twitter feed, and hence only available in one language (which varies randomly).
Note for the PC-impaired (which is obviously a joke, because I’m clearly dead jealous of Mac owners): the Internet Explorer bug where you couldn’t use the navigation menu is fixed (or so I’ve been told). You see, it happens that I have a strong tendency to type z-order instead of z-index because… uh, well, because either way it’s a weird name for a CSS property. And I just found out that MacIE has problems with layers—it wasn’t a bug with my layout (the z-orders were obviously ignored, but the implicit z-indexes gave the correct layout) but with MacIE (which has trouble defining implicit z-indexes). Anyway, it’s probably not the only MacIE bug, nor the only bug affecting my site. But, at least, its users can now access my portfolio, which does matter.
As for the Safari bug (and when I say bug… some versions completely crash on my site), it’s been reported to me already, but you’re welcome to spend your time reporting it to the development team. While you’re at it, don’t forget so report the English version’s address (www.garoo.net/en/), so as not to waste any opportunity of publicity. Not that I actually expect Safari developers to be interested in my blog but, hey, you never know…
