Considering that all new viruses lie about the sender’s address, maybe antivirus programs could stop sending messages back to say You’ve got a virus
, couldn’t they? I’ve been spammed by a virus for two days, and now I’m spammed by antivirus messages saying I send out viruses (no I don’t, because I don’t use Outlook, thank you very much) and by mailer-daemon messages (notifying me that someone sent emails in my name to non-existent addresses—guess there’s not much that can be done about that).
E-mail. Can’t live with it, can’t live without it.
