Firefox avatars in passing and, much more interesting, Gravatar: Globally Recognized Avatar [via]. Register your avatar (a 80x80 pixel image, like on messageboards) on gravatar.com, associate it to your e-mail address, and it’ll be automatically displayed on every gravatar-enabled weblog. Can’t wait for this to spread!
P.S. Crap, they check email addresses, I won’t be able to use garoo@example.com anymore.

It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.ff00aa.com to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

Toi non plus ? Je pensais que c'était encore un bug de ma configuration DNS. Je l'ai reçu immédiatement en mettant une adresse Hotmail.
Par contre, mon avatar n'est pas encore validé, il doit dormir :)

Non, c'est tout simplement à partir de l'adresse email (donc y'a aucune authentification, mais rien n'a jamais empêché personne de mentir sur son pseudo / email / url en signant un commentaire -- enfin, à part Typekey, mais bon).
Ton image n'est pas très carrée :)

bah je suis un carré insomniaque, un chamallow bref un pédéblogeur carré lol :)) nan je deconne vais corriger ca apres le téléshopping (ah mince c'est vrai que c'est en boucle 24/24 sur m6 boutique).
Tiens sinon ca marche comment gmail sur ton mac ?

J'ai essayé d'utiliser Mail.app pour accéder à Gmail en POP, mais pas moyen de le faire marcher. Mais sous Safari y'a pas l'air d'y avoir de problème.

Il y a aussi le système de Michel sur Zengun, qui cherche et affiche automatiquement la favicon du commentateur !! Ca je l'attends avec impatience ! Mais du coup, il faut avoir un blog...
