Apple ports macOS to ARM and redesigns it for touch at the same time.
The ARM Mac development kit uses the iPad Pro’s SoC.
This all happens the same year the iPad Pro gets a trackpad.
On the one hand, what an odd coincidence. On the other, why not announce macOS on iPad at WWDC.
