In our demo, we saw the gestures at work in both iPhoto and Safari, though presumably these are features that third-party developers will be able to add to their applications as well.

Okay, now that yesterday’s keynote disappointment has passed, let’s be unrealistic and dream for a second: what if Apple had released the multitouchpad now so that third-party developers can include the feature in their software and everything’ll be ready when a touch-screen Mac is introduced at the next Macworld?

I mean, if they were going to release such a thing any time soon, it’s not like they’d give early prototypes to developers.

Vous voulez savoir quand je poste du contenu sur mon blog ? Il suffit de vous inscrire gratuitement à un agrégateur RSS (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) et d'ajouter www.ff00aa.com à vos flux (ou www.garoo.net pour vous abonner à tous les sujets). On n'a pas besoin de newsletters, pas besoin de Twitter, le RSS existe toujours.

i think of touchscreen imac as a dream, nothing more. 2 points. first, imac's screen will be a totally mess with your fingers on all day long. Second, the distance between an imac and its user is different from an iphone. You'll certaibly get a very strong arm and a weak one ;)

touch technology, of course, but large screen touch technologuy don't stand a chance in my opinion. a touchy macbook air would have been yummi ... next time ;)

Apple "invented" the windows + mouse interface, i'm sure they dream of something even more intuitive for a while. Good point though, they will have a looot of feedback on ergonomics as soon as developpers introduce gestures to their applications.

to peter about the messy screen : what do you think the glass screen shiled is for? a wet clothe and everything's back to normal.
It's not a big deal on iphone either ;)
