@april “People only get to reuse my work if I’m emotionally happy with that use” is a really bad rule. There are many, many societally beneficial uses of copyright works that fail it—more than I can fit in a 500 character toot.

There are many important and serious and complex ways to critique AI, but “copyright holders don’t like it” ain’t it. That just gives ammo to copyright holders who want to lock down every computer and piece of content for every use, not just AI.

Want to know when I post new content to my blog? It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding to your feeds (or if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.
