And how do you uninstall the fucking extensions? Are the previous versions going to linger forever, inactive, in my extensions panel? Idiots.
P.S. Google : Firefox “uninstall extensions”. I’m linking the results page because the first link (the one with the right answer) doesn’t work, I had to use the Google cache.
Must be damn complex adding an interface for this in the options window. I don’t like this browser, its idiosyncrasies and its stupid, incoherent keyboard shortcuts (Alt-Enter, depending on context, either opens a new tab or saves the link target). I’m going to buy 512 MB of additional RAM and install Mozilla again.

It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.ff00aa.com to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.

Erreur : mon premier reflexe a été de supprimer les références aux extensions dans le .rdf, et là Firefox ne démarrait plus.

Ah oui, dans rdf c'est très, très, très facile de faire une erreur et le browser ne se lance plus. Par exemple, si tu retires la description d'un package mais que tu oublies de le retirer de la « RDF:Seq about="urn:mozilla:package:root" », ça ne va pas marcher (et ce n'est là qu'une façon parmi d'autres de se planter). Donc effectivement ce n'est vraiment pas fait pour être édité à la main (mais ce n'est pas impossible non plus).
