“YouTube – Google Chrome OS Demo”(Yeah, I’m late, I had stuff, okay?) So Chrome OS offers only one full-screen window, and it replaces the task bar with a tab bar at the top. And then, you have popup windows, and there’s a task bar so you can manage them. Oh, and then you have multiple full-screen windows, and there’s Exposé for those. It’s all so damn revolutionary. Or something. To be clear, the only reason I watched the video was that I was curious as to how they managed popups, and they could hardly do it any other way — but the thing is, pretty much all the articles I read presented it as “having a tab bar rather than a task bar.” It would be stupid if that were the case, and it’s stupid to describe it that way. |
