Wow. If they’re hiring Panos Panay, Amazon must have *big* plans for hardware. He didn’t leave Microsoft just to manage Alexa devices and a tablet only used to watch videos.
I’m a bit sad, because I really like the way he developed the Surface line (I even bought a Surface Laptop, before realizing that, no, I just couldn’t go back to Windows) and, whatever he does now, there’s no way I’ll ever want to buy an Amazon computer or smartphone.
