Google appears to be A/B testing an interactive voicemail assistant that uses AI to reproduce the user’s voice… without warning anyone, never mind asking them.
And it’s unclear where they’re getting the voice data, possibly by recording the user’s phone conversations, again without warning.
I’m at a loss for words.
(Incidentally, this is absurd from the caller’s perspective. An abject failure of ethics *and* UX design.)
