Every time I check my e-mail spam folder I’m amazed that the entire digital economy still revolves around this set of protocols and it all mostly still works and most messages somehow don’t get lost.
And, yes, that resilience was at the expense of anyone being able to run independent mail servers, but even then it’s wild that it works at all.

It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.ff00aa.com to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.
