@cstross I can’t find the post now, but someone made the point that Recall (a) exfiltrates the contents of E2E chat programs (b) is readable by anyone who has remote access to the machine including Microsoft. It’s literally exactly the on-device surveillance functionality that law enforcement has been asking for the world over under names such as Chat Control. Quite plausibly it wasn’t even Microsoft’s own idea to include it in every copy of Windows.

It's a simple as registering for free to an RSS aggregator (Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, …) and adding www.ff00aa.com to your feeds (or www.garoo.net if you want to subscribe to all my topics). We don't need newsletters, and we don't need Twitter; RSS still exists.
