Yesterday I struggled to find a VPN that would give me access to Google Bard. Turns out it's simply not available in the EU (and I guess the "180 countries" figure was false).
I guess I can see why. What I find more puzzling is that Google has absolutely refused to answer any question about that, as far as I can tell. Are they hoping the EU is too small for people to notice?
