On Wednesday we laughed at OpenAI spending a page and a half of their presentation on how they made sure GPT-4 couldn’t escape its bounds. Safety? It’s just autocomplete!
On Thursday we saw it access your cloud drive, read your docs, fetch your photos, and generate slideshows and spreadsheets for you, from just a few instructions.
Letting it interact with web forms would surely be a lot easier than all that. And from there… it doesn’t have to be the least bit sentient to be dangerous.
